Date: October 20, 2018 07:30 PM

Venue: Deane Center Coolidge Theatre

At 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, the Wellsboro Community Concert Association’s 71st season will open with Moondance: the Ultimate Van Morrison Tribute Concert in the Coolidge Theatre at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts in Wellsboro.  This incredible show captures the Van Morrison concert experience like no other. The audience will hear Morrison's classic rock songs like "Brown Eyed Girl,” "Domino” and “Days Like This,” legendary tunes like "Tupelo Honey" and "Into The Mystic" and others, such as "Moondance," "It Stoned Me," "Wild Night," and "Caravan." Ed Moran portrays Morrison and is backed by a five-piece band.

Friday, Oct. 19 is reserved for season ticket holders while seats on Saturday, Oct. 20 are open to the general public. “Season ticket holders who would prefer to attend on Saturday or non-season ticket holders who want to attend on Friday should call the Deane Center at 570-724-6220 to see what arrangements can be made. "We try to be as flexible as we can," said Kevin Connelly, Deane Center executive director. “Season ticket holders are encouraged to be at the theatre at least 15 minutes before show time. Any seats set aside for season ticket holders will be opened to the public at that point,” Connelly said.

A season ticket to attend all six concerts is $70 or $11.67 per show for adults and $25 or $4.17 for students, 13 to 18. A $70 season ticket admits one adult and accompanying minor children, 12 and under, to all six shows.

The price at the door is $20 per show for adults and $5 for students, 13 to 18. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Information and season ticket (subscription) forms are available by visiting www.wellsborocca.org, stopping in at the Deane Center at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro or by calling 570-724-6220.
