The Summer Reading Programs are free and open to anyone in preK through 6th grade. Sign-in at 10:15 AM every Wednesday under the library's portico. The staff or volunteers at the sign-in desk will direct you to either the Gmeiner or the Library, depending on the day and the age of your participant.
Pre-registration is appreciated but walk-ins are always welcome! Register at the Green Free Library by dropping in or calling (570)724-4876.

- Make and Take Moonscape: PreK-3rd grades Design a lunar scene!
- Light Lab with Dr. Gregory Carson: Grades 4-6th Learn about the light spectrum in a hands-on lab!
- June 27 A Universe of Stories at Strait Planetarium at Mansfield University
- Meet Dr. Elaine Farkas at the Planetarium at 5 PM to Discover how astronomy an storytelling have been connected since ancient times.

- July 10 Animal Constellations with Elaine Spacher Learn about several animals that inspired constellations!
- July 17 Shoot for the Moon Activities

- July 24 Out of this World Art Create a space scene with aliens or astronauts
